INFORMATION about UK recipients of Common Agricultural Policy payments has been published on Defra's website.
These latest details are provided in accordance with the regulations that require EU Member States to identify the recipients of CAP subsidy payments on a single national website.
Anyone interested can use the payments search page: http://www.cap-payments.defra.gov.uk/Search.aspx to view the amounts received by named beneficiaries. By using the different search options available, including name, address, value and scheme, website visitors can narrow down the number of results. Alternatively, they can download the full set of data in a spreadsheet format from http://www.cap-payments.defra.gov.uk/download.aspx
The UK Government said that it remained committed to 'full transparency' in the use of public funds, including the publication of details about all payments made under the CAP.
