AYRSHIRE VINTAGE Tractor & Machinery Club will celebrate their 36th Vintage Rally this coming Sunday, July 21, in what is gearing up to be a fabulous fun day out for the whole family.
The annual rally is being held at Whitefordhill Agri-Centre on the A70 just outside Ayr and will showcase almost 400 exhibits which include; vintage & classic tractors; classic cars; implements; motorcycles; stationery engines; heavy plant machinery and commercial vehicles.
There will also be a display of steam tractors and a steam roller living van, plus various displays including bicycles and scaled models.
Ring events this year include a display by Prestwick Dog Agility; a demonstration of planting/harvesting Ayrshire potatoes using vintage equipment; the ever-popular Children’s Straw Scramble and the Parade of Tractors.
Popular Scots and Country music band, ‘Good Question’ will be providing entertainment, as well as the well-known Troon Blackrock Pipe Band.
The Rally takes place from 10.30am - 4.30pm and admission prices are £5 for adults and £4 for children and concessions. Car parking facilities are free.
