JOCK GIBSON of Macbeth's butchers in Forres recently celebrated a big birthday and was surprised with this amazing cake from his talented wife, Fiona, and her mother Moira Cameron.
The cake was inspired by the farming system that Jock and Fiona operate at their Evindale farm in upland Moray, where they have been looking at improving grass management, with a key focus on rotational grazing.
When Fiona was asked how difficult it was to make the masterpiece she answered 'easier than Jock makes paddock grazing!' – clearly a constant topic of discussion in the Gibson household.
Macbeth’s Butchers prides itself on its high quality, grass fed beef, rearing Scottish native breeds in an extensive, natural environment which they run hand-in-hand with nature.
