December 2019 marked Harry Andrews' 60th year working for the Jack family on Easter Upper Urquhart farm.
Harry started work for the late John Jack after he left school at the age of 15. He joined a team of six men, five of which worked together for over 30 years. His main role on the farm through the years has been as a tractorman, and he collected both his 30 and 50 year long service medals at Fife Show. Harry’s wife, Janet, has also been involved through many of those years.
"60 years working on the same farm for the same family is something that undoubtedly we will not see again – a huge congratulations and thank you to Harry for his loyalty and work from the whole team at Urquhart," said the Jack family. "Harry is the definition of 'in with the bricks'."
