The Highland Cattle Society has continued with its virtual summer shows with classes for Young Handlers.
There were three classes, under 13, 13-18 and fancy dress. In the first two classes the handlers had to say how they prepared their cattle and then lead them and present them to the virtual judge, all captured on video.
The standard of entries was very high, coming from as far north as Aberdeen and the Highlands and Islands, and as far south as Warwickshire, and judge Shirley Strachan from Mull had a tough time sorting out the placings.
She noted that the cattle and young handlers were extremely well presented and handled and the standard would have put many adult handlers to shame. The videos can be seen on the Highland Cattle Society facebook page.
