AN IMPRESSIVE 50 odd classic and vintage tractors gathered for the Moffat Charity Tractor run in aid of Epilepsy Scotland earlier this month.

Leaving from Lockerbie lorry park in the morning, the procession set off on one of organiser Davy 'Mr Massey' Paton’s magical mystery tours across the Moffat hills near Poldean – some of it off road – then returned for lunch at the lorry park, before another adventurous route near Templand in the afternoon.

The weather was not great to start with, particularly for those drivers with cab-less machines, but it brightened up eventually.

The event raised £750 for Epilepsy Scotland and a cheque will be handed over to the charity at 3pm on Friday, September 18 at the Star Hotel attended by the sponsors – Star Hotel, Lockerbie Lorry Park and AML Technology / AML Air.
