Scottish exhibitors were at the forefront of the beef inter-breed on the final day of the Great Yorkshire Show.
Scooping the supreme was the Charolais senior bull, Maerdy Morwr from AJR Farms, Ellon.
This Royal Highland Showcase reserve inter-breed and breed champion is five-years old and was brought out by father and son duo both, Andrew Reid.
This stock bull was purchased privately three years ago from DE Evans, Maerdy, for £25,000, being a son of Maerdy Dynamite and out of Maerdy Fee.
Another winner from the Royal Highland Showcase this year, the big Hereford bull had to settle for reserve inter-breed for Tom and Di Harrison, Northumberland.
Their home-bred three-year-old bull, Moralee 1 Rebel Kicks, is by the Danish-bred sire, SMH Kingsize and out of Romany 1 Dawn.
