Back with a twist is the Scottish National Fat Stock Club, LiveScot, which have introduced pedigree classes to this year's event as well as the return of all events.

The Friday night will host both pedigree calf and lamb classes as a warm up for the Saturday event which will be the usual Livescot with beef cattle, sheep and dairy exhibitors all eager to return.

The Premier Meat Exhibition and the Native Pony Show were both cancelled last year due to the ongoing pandemic but are both set to go ahead again this year.

"We were fortunate to be able to run a smaller LiveScot show last year during the pandemic but we are looking forward to getting all our events back on the go to as full of capacity as we can this year. We have added new sections into our schedule which we are thoroughly looking forward to the response and hope that exhibitors will support us," said chairman, David McKerrow.

"We are aiming to showcase the best livestock available in the industry and look forward to welcoming like-minded people into the one show ring once again. We are continuing to follow the Covid-19 restrictions to ensure our event is a success and will go ahead," he added.
