Selling at this price was Orchard Gabriel, the first lot in catalogue and the reserve male champion at the pre-sale show from Gordon Preece, Orchard, Pontrilas, Herefordshire. He is a son of Goldies Rudy, and out of the Gemstones sired-dam, Denne Manor Penelope.

Best from David Hodge and Julian Walters of the Blackertor flock, Lower Halstock, Devon, realised 4500gns for the ewe lamb, Blackertor Inca. A Gemstones Heinzmann daughter, out of Blackertor Cobweb, which goes back to Blackertor Atomic, she sold back down to Devon with Skaigh sheep, Moorlands Moor North, Belstone, Okehampton,

Another ewe lamb from the same home Blackertor Iona, lifted the overall championship and sold for 4200gns to Whitehall Farm, Lacock, Chippenham, Wiltshire. She is a daughter of Blackertor Emperor, and out of Blackertor Esther, by Gemstones Schmid.

Topping the gimmer trade at 4000gns was the reserve female champion, Blackertor Gemima again from David and Julian. This Blackertor Firefox daughter, is out of the Swiss registered-sired ewe, Blackertor Amelie, and was purchased by Melissa Christie, Buerton Hall, Crewe Cheshire.

Ram lambs peaked at 1200gns for Halsbury Istabraq from Tom Hooper and Chris Slee of the Halsbury flock, Halsbury Barton, Bideford, Devon. He is a son of Whitehall Furi, and out of Halsbury Golden Girl.
