The champion pen of gimmers topped C and D Auction Marts' annual show and sale of Scotch Mules at Dumfries when selling WR and FM Kirk and Son, Hall of Drumpark, sold their entries for £240 per head
The best pen of Scotch Mule ewe lambs from M Rorison, Clonrae, realised £152.
Averages were up on the year, with 2045 gimmers levelling at £171 (+£3), whilst 819 ewe lambs balanced out at £126 (+£11).
