The Scottish Farmer is going to Westmorland County Show on Wednesday, September 8 and Thursday. September 9, this year, so look out for our reporting team of Julie Wight and Rob Haining as well as our 'paper boy', Willie Walker, who will be giving away free promotional copies of The SF from our show stand.
This is the first time that the event will be over two-days, with the aim of spreading the crowd across two days to ensure it is as safe as possible for everyone concerned — and it is the organisers' 222nd show.
Traditionally one of the late summer highlights in the show calendar, it will be a Covid compliant event. Livestock classes will be split across both days and the layout has been overhauled to make best use of the extensive showground.
