In the latest episode of the QMS podcast, we're discussing fodder beet, which is increasingly popular for outwintering livestock. We speak to Robbie Newlands of Cluny Farm, who outwinters his cows and will be finishing lambs on fodder beet for the first time this year.
He's joined by Kirsten Williams, Beef and Sheep Specialist at SAC Consulting, who has been involved in a number of trials for growing the crop across the country.
