Averages were up on the year at the annual show and sale of Swaledale gimmers and ewes at Skipton Auction Mart, with 2217 cashing in at £130.23, up £13.89 on the year.
The first prize gimmers from Sandy Harrison, of Lumb Farm, Cowling, led the way when achieving £240.

The champion pen of ewes for the sixth consecutive year, was awarded to the Robinson family, Foredale Farm, Horton-in-Ribblesdale, which later realised £195.
The same home also sold the second prized gimmers for £235.
