The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland has presented an award of the value of £5000 to support the World Clydesdale Show, which will be hosted in Scotland next year.

Taking place in Aberdeen from October 20 to 23, the event will showcase the very best of the Clydesdale breed across various ridden and showing classes.

RHASS chairman, Bill Gray, said: “The society is delighted to be supporting the World Clydesdale Show for its homecoming event in Scotland. Clydesdale horses are a huge part of Scotland’s agricultural heritage, something which was showcased at the 2019 Royal Highland Show’s Clydesdale Celebration.

“It fits with RHASS’ charitable remit to mark this important milestone in the history of the event as it returns to Scotland, birthplace of the Clydesdale breed.”
