Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of 358 calves in conjunction with their Autumn show, where judge Alan Lamont found his champion in the form of a suckler bred Limousin heifer from Messrs Wigham, Hargill House, which was later knocked down at £500 to Messrs Ackerley, Milton Mains.

Reserve honours was awarded to the second prize heifer from Messrs Balmer, Forrest Farm for a British Blue which went under the hammer for £455 when selling to the judge.

Out with the show, top price of the day went to Gerrard House Farm, Ltd, Wigton for a British Blue selling for £525.
