TO THE great delight of both its organisers and the local community, the first North Skye Vintage Run finally went ahead last month, after being postponed for year due to Covid. The event was supported by folk from all over the island and enjoyed immensely by participants and onlookers alike.

The convoy of 22 tractors, eight vintage cars, and one retro MacBrayne's bus travelled the 15 mile coastal route from Uig to Staffin, taking in spectacular scenery along the way. The amazing sum of £3200 was raised for Cancer Research. Interest has already been shown for next year's event.
