Ashledge Radar, the senior and overall champion led the British Limousin Cattle Society's autumn show and sale at Brecon, selling for the lead price of 6800gns.

The March 2020-born bull from Peter, Michael and Rob Kirton from Bewdley, Worcestershire, is a son of the stock sire Haltcliffe Iceman and out of Ashledge Herbal. Radar carries two copies of the F94L myostatin gene and sold Emily Jones of the Maescoedmore herd in Lampeter.

Next best at 4800gns was Nealford Rangeover, from JH Neale and sons, Launceston, Cornwall. Rangerover which stood second in his class, is a May-2020 born son of the 17,000gns Loosebeare Nelson and sold to J and T Raw.

Females peaked at 3000gns for the 17-month-old unhaltered heifer Beulah Rhianna from MJ and JM Price, Llanafan Fawr, Builth Wells. Rhianna is a daughter of Carnew Millreef, out of cow Beulah Fifi and sold to the judge, David Jordon, buying for his Longhirst herd from Morpeth.
