An Usk Vale gimmer secured the top spot at the in-lamb gimmer and ewe lamb sale, Builth Babes when selling for 5500gns.

Brought out by Willy Davies and Paul Rowlands, this girl is a daughter of Hope Valley C The Stars, out of an Allanfauld Am The Man sired-ewe and sold carrying twins by Morwood Eurostar. She found a new home in Rhayader with the Powell family of Holiday Wales, Llwyngwilym.

The same home also hit 3800gns for another gimmer by the same sire, this one sold up to Scotland with J Green of Banffshire, Abderdeenshire. She is out of a Sportsmans A Star sired-dam, and is again due in lamb to Eurostar.

Following closely at 3500gns was another ewe lamb this time from Myfyr Evans of the Rhaeadr flock, which sold to the Morgan family, Blaencar, Sennybridge. A Sportsmans A Star daughter, out of a ewe by Kelso Pavarotti, she is a full sister to the Worcester Champion this year.
