Securing the championship ticket at Bentham Auction Marts' Young Farmers Singles Night was a 52kg lamb from the short wooled class shown by Ellie Jackson of Bentham, which later realised £275.
Ellie also topped the sale at £285 with a ewe lamb that won the best presented class. Both entries were purchased by Jack Foster, Wigglesworth for future breeding.
Judge, John Holdsworth, found his reserve champion in a 46kg lamb from Liam Whitaker, Clapham, which went on to make £190 when selling to Harry Wood on behalf of Bowland Foods.
Anne Marie Huddleston, Wray, took the red rosette in the junior long wooled lamb class, which was made £132 to Mr Holdsworth.
A 52kg Mule took the top spot among the senior long wooleds for Isaac Middleton, Lowgill, which attained £140.
Away from the show, some 4512 prime lambs cashed in at 277.1p per kg with an SQQ of 278p.
