CHILDREN in Mrs Craig’s class at Beattock Primary in Dumfries and Galloway have been learning about agricultural history thanks to a hands-on visit to show them how much tractors have changed over the years. Arranged by deputy head teacher Hazel Graham in conjunction with her father, Davy Paton – aka Mr Massey – from Hydro Garage in Moffat, and parent Alistair Davidson from Poldean near Moffat, the visit compared Poldean’s ultra-modern Valtra to Mr Paton’s 1955 Ferguson TEF diesel and his 1961 MF 65 Mk2 (Pic: AML AIR DUMFRIES)
