The weekly sale levelled at 263p, with prices up on the week
Caledonian Marts had forward 1184 prime sheep at their weekly sale, where trade balanced out at 263p with the sale reaching a peak of 307p for a pair of Texel crosses from Braco Castle, Braco or to £150 for Beltex from Doune Farm.
Cast sheep were led at £185 by a Texel ewe from J Brownlie, Inchgall, while tups attained £178 for another of the same from R Wardrop and Son, Easter Coates.
