Ewe hogg entries are being sought for National Sheep Assocation's Scottish region Scotsheep event at Robert and Hazel McNee’s Over Finlarg unit, Tealing, Dundee, on Wednesday, June 1.

The show and sale of ewe hoggs born in 2021, with an overall championship, is set to attract a strong line-up of entries from well-known breeders across the country. There are classes for Bluefaced Leicesters, Mules, North Country Cheviots, Blackface, Suffolk, Texel, any other native breed, any other continental breed and any other cross breed, with both MV accredited and non-accredited sheep eligible.

Pre-sale show judge is United Auctions’ retired sheep auctioneer Matt Stevenson, Gargunnock.

Closing date for the entries is Friday, May 6 and an entry fee of £25 per pair (plus VAT) should be made payable to NSA Scotsheep.

Prize money per class includes £50 for first prize, £25 for second and £10 for third, with the overall champion attracting an additional cash prize of £100.
