A top price of 3050gns along with 77 animals making 2000gns or more were some of the highlights from the Malpas dispersal on behalf of Graham and Rachel Dimelow.

More than 50 buyers were recorded with 48% of the lots being sold online.

Sale leader at 3050gns came in the form of Malpas Hartley Echo 15 GP84, which found a new home with Bonsalls Mercaston. This young second calver is freshly calved having done 9738kg as a heifer.

Bulk buyers, T Smith and Sons of Hinkley in Leictershire, picked up 15 of the best cows for their Bumblebeehall herd, including Malpas Applejax Joanna 19 VG86 for 3000gns. This autumn calver was still giving 50kg since calving three months ago and was Pd+ back in calf.
