The sole bull to be sold, Gentons Vault, secured the lead price of £3500 at the recent spring sale of Longhorn Cattle, staged online through Harrison and Hetherington.

This February 2021 born bull from B Facon, Lessor, Milcombe, Banbury, Oxfordshire, is a son of Gentons Ramses and out of Fishwick Quincey VG88. Taking this boy home was Messrs McFadzean and Sons, Maybole, Ayr, who also purchased the top three priced females.

Top priced female at £2200 came in the form of the two-year-old heifer, Fishwick Urceolina from John Close and Sons, Fishwick Mains, Fishwick, Berwick On Tweed, Scotland. This girl is a daughter of Heronbrook Ned Kelly and out of Fishwick Magnolia.

The same transaction was completed at £2000 for the heifer, Fishwick Ullswater Lass, which is by the same sire, this time out of Wellhead Patterdale Lass.

Messrs McFadzean and Sons' third female pick was Fishwick Upsurge. This heifer from the same home also made the £2000 price tag, being the result of Kelly sire onto the dam, Croftlands Ocean.
