An Aberdeenshire farmer is facing a prison sentence after being found guilty of attacking a former school friend with a loader and knife. Stuart Allan, 31, rammed his victims van with a Manitou loader then slashed his neck in a 'drugcrazed' attack in November 2019.
The jury at Aberdeen Sheriff court found Allan guilty of assaulting neighbouring farmer Gary Stuart, 29, to his injury, permanent disfigurement, and danger of life. Mr Allan of Goryhill Farm, Alford, was released on bail but is likely to face prison after sentencing next month.
