Scotland’s Women’s Hockey team has a new sponsor in the shape of estate agents Bell Ingram.

As well as helping to nurture Scotland’s hockey talent within its training framework, the partnership will allow the Scottish squad to continue its work encouraging girls to take up the sport.

The Scotland team regularly competes on the international stage and this year marks a busy competition schedule, including the much-anticipated Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in the summer.

As 'property partner', the sponsorship will see the Bell Ingram logo appear on the players’ shirts, and throughout the home stadium at Glasgow Green on match days.

Head of Estate Agency, Carl Warden, said: “Hockey is a natural fit for our business and the reach of the national squad, not only in Scotland but also further afield, is great promotion for the Bell Ingram brand.

“We are really looking forward to seeing the squad in action this year and playing our part in supporting young talent and the next generation of hockey stars.”

Barry Cawte, CEO at Scottish Hockey, added: “Partnerships of this nature are so important for us to sustain and enhance the quality of opportunities available to our most talented athletes of all ages while attracting new people to the sport. It’s great that we have such a high quality and established business on board, particularly one who places important emphasis on developing people. Many thanks to Bell Ingram for their kind support and we look forward to working together in the years ahead.”
