A gimmer from Derek and Cindy Steens Coxhill flock from Moffat, Dumfriesshire topped the Spotacular Dutch Spotties sale at Worcester, selling at 1800gns.
Coxhill Exotic, by Ancholme Casper and out of an imported female, sold to I Crump and AL Thomas, Tibberton, Devon.
The same buyers also bought the lead priced male, a ram lamb from the Coxhill pen at 1350gns. The ET-bred Coxhill Felix is by Kilroot Equinox and out of an imported female.
The Steens also received 1600gns from Adam Wood, Redditch, Worcester, for the gimmer, Coxhill Empress, another by Ancholme Casper out of Turbo Bont Countess.
Matching that price, Pembrokeshire-based Brian Davies, sold Ty-Gwyn Erin, a Ty-Gwyn Dynamite daughter, out of Gallowhill Candy to P Langdown, Blandford, Dorset.
