Three lots sold at or above the 2000gns mark at the dispersal of Gerald McFarlane's Deerpark Valais Blacknose flock from Deepark, Omagh, Co Tyrone.
The sale, staged at Borderway Mart, Carlisle, was topped at 2200gns by the gimmer, Carraibe Indigo, a daughter of Lyndon Freddie, out of Beattie's Lilly, a Highland King Kong-sired ewe. She sold to Messrs Dent, Appleby-In-Westmorland.
Minutes later, Messrs Corlett, Cockermouth, went to 2000gns for her full sister, Carraibe Ivy.
Messrs Stewart, Kelso, also forked out 2000gns for Deerpark J Ballerina an ET bred gimmer from the Highland Montana daughter, Goldies Empress and sired by Highland Hendrix.
The same buyers also paid 1900gns for Deerpark J Lady another ET bred gimmer this time from the Solwaybank Dazzle-sired Glenshee Fluffnugget and sired by Hendrix.
