Here is a picture of the Thomson family from Baikiehowe, Newton of Tulloch, Oldmeldrum.
Three generations of Thomsons: Grandfather William (known as Bill), his son William (known as Willum), and daughters Fiona, Morven, and Morag.
All three daughters share the same birthday, 29th December, but they are not triplets. Twins Morven and Morag were born on Fiona’s 2nd birthday.
The girls’ dad, the late Willum, used to say in true Aberdeenshire style, ‘Aye, one birthday cake dis them a’.’ Picture taken in winter 1976 on the family farm at Baikiehowe, near Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire.
