AT the recent agm, Angus Tayside district handed over two cheques to deserving charities and appointed new members of the top table.
Taking on the role of chairman is James Neill with Stewart Lawrie as his vice, while Claire Henderson steps up as secretary and Amy Anderson takes on the assistant title. Barbara Shaw was appointed the title of treasurer.
Also present at the meeting were Carol Littlewood and Bruce Christie, of RHET, and Ron Scrymgeour, of Angus Deaf Links, who were presented with cheques for £500 to each charity by members of the outgoing committee.
