A NEW head table was elected at the recent North Region agm, held at Dingwall and Highland Marts’ Dingwall centre, with Forss YFC member, Michael Gunn, taking on the role as chairman while Udny JAC’s Gemma Bruce steps forward as vice-chair.
Also on the committee is outgoing chair, Kim Taylor, as well as Thomas Wilson, Alex Stephen, Brian Grant, Kevin King, Sam Ewing, Jake Rennie, Murray Stephen, Gemma Bruce, Steven Eddie, Neil Watt, Peter Duthie, Joanna Foubister, Scott Morrison, Hamish Smith, Esko Johnston, Gordon Kelly, Nikki Mackay, Craig Nicol, Ewan MacIver, Sarah Mowat, Gemma Duguid, Lynn Sinclair, Greg Robertson, Stuart Slesser, Steven Stanger, Peter Moss, Rebecca Spence and George Low.
The results of the recruitment and participation competitions were also announced and it was Garioch YFC that led the membership increase at 32.26%. In second with a 27.59% increase was Mid Deeside JAC, while Udny JAC was third with 20%.
It was a close call in the participation stakes as Udny JAC came out on top with 73 points, followed by Turriff JAC with 72 and Keith YFC with 69.
