Sir, – I was amazed and annoyed after reading in your issue June 27, 2020, the comments made about the survey regarding the post-Brexit survey commissioned by the Scottish Government – the said survey being carried out by SRUC and the James Hutton Institute.
There seemed to be three categories: Optimists, pessimists, neutrals – and I guess, a fourth one being educated farmers.
Seemingly they are really bright sparks planning for the future? Just how they can plan for the future when nobody knows what the future is, I’m glad us farmers are educated enough not to pass such comments in the press about other professions.
