SINCE lockdown's partial release, fly tipping has become a big problem in the countryside – but there's been another problem.
With no public toilets open, those who have ventured out have found themselves caught short. And it's not just country areas that have been hit by the spent pennies and Number Twos – park rangers on HM The Queen's Balmoral Estate, in Deeside, have issued a plea for visitors to use biodegradable paper rather than wipes.
The Raider even understands that Catherine McKechnie, from Gartocharn, has become an expert at finding suitable spots between home and Speyside, on the A9 after she had been visiting a sick relative there.
Apparently, she knows every suitable bush!
