It could be a hangover from the days when 'Health and Efficiency' was every schoolboy's essential reading, but I couldn't help think of that again when Scottish Natural Heritage changed its name recently to NatureScot.
The old H and E was a mag which espoused all things noodie (as in naturist) and I just can't get that notion out of my head with the new being that is NatureScot.
But, for one thing, it's usually too damned cold up here for that sort of nonsense and the thought of some of those fine fellows at Battleby, just outside Perth, romping about the woods with nothing but a lunch box.
Still, I suppose it will make their annual survey of beavers a bit more interesting!
