Up in the mornin' aboot first light,
Looks oot the windee ti see if his new tracters arite,
A cup oh tea he throws doon his throat,
And nips ootside ti milk the goat,
Inti the barn ti clean oot some dung,
Pit the coos in the field ti graze in the sun,
Now he's awa ti plough some dreels,
Now gets a hose ti clean the muck aff his wheels,
Throws aboot some bales oh strah and hay,
Just how many joabs does he dae?
Gets back hame when it's gettin dark,
Tractor and bogey he does park,
Just in time fir a washe and some food,
Taks his wife tae bed cause he's right in the mood,
'Eh dinnae think so' she said 'it'll no be we me,
'Yi hivnae even took the collie doag oot fir a pee'
