A YOUNG ewe from David Rock, Knock O' Ronald, triumphed at Fintry local sheep show for home-bred Blackface sheep, to win the championship.
The event, staged at Bogside Farm, Fintry, by kind permission of the Aitken family, saw judge, Donald MacGregor, Dyke, present the championship to a ewe by a £2800 Elmscleugh.
The reserve from David Maxwell, Jaw, was the second prize ewe to the champion, a daughter of a £6000 Crossflat.
