Ayrshire’s Neil Sloan fought off tough competition to win the Scottish Holsteins Club's annual calf show at Ayr Market, with Ve-Tech Atwood Frolie bought in partnership with Ewan Corbett, at the Perfection Collection Sale in April.
Judge Steve McLoughlin from Southern Ireland said the 14-month-old heifer caught his eye as soon as she came into the ring.
Reserve spot went to Parkend LA Striptease owned by Andrew Struthers and Salvie Esquirdo while Andrew Neilson was honourable mention with Overside Upright Zeebee.
Competition was just as stiff in the handling classes with Alison Hunter taking the overall title; Zoe Bryson reserve and Neil Sloan honourable mention.
