The Wilson family from Carskerdo Farm, near Cupar took home the Paul’s trophy for the best Holstein herd in Scotland at the annual herds competition prize giving.

Judge, Brian Moorehouse from Aireburn in Yorkshire, said the family's Northshields herd was a worthy winner on 2000 points, while the Parkend herd, owned by Brian Weatherup and son Brian, gained most points overall in the individual classes.

There was also success for other herds to include Townlaw, Logan, Parkend, Overside and Firth.
