A good night was had by all at the Lanarkshire Holstein Club stockjudging competition at Dykehead, Lesmahagow, by kind permission of the Bryson family, who supplied seven classes from the Carnduff herd.
Just shy of 200 competitors took part in the stockjudging under the watchful eye of master judge, William Fleming, Hillhead, Kirkpatrick Fleming.
Overall sweepstake winner was Graham Mackie on 327 points while Jim Fleming, Craigthorn came out tops in the side competition.

Aged 14 and under (25 competing) – 1, Mark Bryson (281 points); 2= Adam Smith and Rory Scott (275); 4, Paul Smith (268).
Under 26/YFC (35 competing) – 1, Fraser Thomson (306); 2, Andrew Neilson (292); 3, Katie Watt (289).
Ladies (42 competing) – 1, Sarah Hodge (300); 2, Evie Price (283); 3, Carole Smith (278).
Gents (88 competing) – 1, Graham Mackie (327); 2, Euan Lawrie (313); 3, Robbie Scott (312); 4, Gordon Lyle (310).
