A North Country Cheviot ewe from young Lewis Runciman, Allanshaws, Galashiels, was crowned supreme champion at St Boswells Show.

The two-crop ewe, Allanshaws SweetPea, is sired by Pengroes Rock n Roll and out of Allanshaws Pam a Synton Bullseye daughter, which has won many shows.

Philiphaugh Estate, Selkirk was awarded the reserve award with a two-crop Cheviot Mule, by a home-bred traditional Bluefaced Leicester. She was shown with twin Texel lambs.

Winning the Longnewton Cup for the most points gained in the highly contested St Boswells and District Crop and Stock Competition was Robert Bruce, Pinnacle Farm, Jedburgh.
