Scottish judge, James Tennant, chose the winners from a show of 18 at the recent Co Londonderry Horse Breeding Society’s foal show in Ballymena – with the top ticket going to Master Tom.

The overall championship went to Geoffrey and Lesley Tanner with the day’s foal champion Downhill Master Tom – a home bred senior colt foal, sired by Eskechraggan Ernest out of Garleton Betty.

Reserve overall champion and reserve foal champion was the Hanna family's May-born junior filly foal, on her first outing – Macfin Dancing Queen. This one is by Muirton Sabre out of Macfin Diamond Queen.

Senior champion was David Patterson's home-bred three-year-old filly, Agivey Sophie. She is by Roes Hall Calypso while her dam is Drumeen Grace.

Reserve senior was the yearling colt, Macfin Kingsman, again from the Hannas – he is by Rosegift Rocky out of Macfin Diamond Queen.
