It was a day to remember for Amanda Stewart, Mollinhillhead Farm, where she repeated history by following in her grandfathers footsteps and lifted the coveted Campsie Show champion of champions title with her Clydesdale mare, Mollinhillhead Lady Elegance.

Having won the Clydesdale section at Campsie some 35 times, Lady Elegance went all the way for Amanda having already stood first in her class at at the Royal Highland Showcase, last year, as well as overall champion at Strathaven. This five-year-old is out of the home-bred Mollinhillhead Lady Marion and sired by Bratlach Ballintoy.

Taking all the plaudits amongst the cattle, as well as reserve show champion was the Limousin heifer 'Royal Jewel' from Duncan Thomson, Cairnbog Farm, Kilsyth. She is an ET daughter of the French bull, Neuf, and bred out of Dinmore Elle. She is headed for Stirling Show, as well as Doune and Dunblane.
