QUALITY as opposed to quantity was the name of the game at the Aberdeen Christmas Classic show and sale of prime cattle at Thainstone, where a select number of haltered entries saw Perthshire showman Wilson Peters dominate much of the proceedings.
The Smith family from Drumnahive, Kildrummy, had a field day among the sheep, winning their first supreme overall prime lamb championship with a pair of Beltex entries that went on to top the trade at £500 per head.
