Due to the current situation with the Corona virus outbreak we have put plans in place so that you can access our website as well as a digital replica of our newspaper online for the next year. This will allow you to continue to access your weekly magazine in the safety of your own home.

Please note: your printed copy of The Scottish Farmer remains to be sent via Royal Mail directly to your door.

In order to access the website and e-edition please follow these steps-

  • • Go to the top right-hand corner of the website and click ‘register’ (If you are already a registered user click the ‘sign in’ button & check that you remember your login details)

  • • Go through the registration steps including creating a password

  • • Once you are registered, click the following link – www.thescottishfarmer.co.uk/subscribe/newfarmerprint/

  • • A separate landing page should appear informing you that this is the free access page for Scottish Farmer print subscribers

  • • Click on the sign-up button (ignore any payment requests, you will not be charged)

  • • Input your unique promo code XXXXXXXXX (this will trigger the 100% discount and will mean the 1-year access you are about to receive will be free) Your unique code has been sent to you in the mail.

  • • Then follow the rest of the steps for set-up. Once complete you will have 1 year’s free access

  • • To access the site going forward log in via the top right-hand corner using the ‘sign in’ button

  • • To access the digital replica and all the supplements, first sign in as explained above and then click on the ‘pagesuite edition’ button

  • • This will bring up your digital replica and instructions on how to use it

  • • To access the archive, click on the icon that looks like a box

  • • To access the supplements, click on the icon that looks like 3 horizontal lines. A drop-down menu will appear and ‘supplements’ can be found in there.

  • If you have any difficulties with accessing the website and/or e-edition please email digitalsubscriptions@newsquest.co.uk stating 'THE SCOTTISH FARMER' and the issue.
