Local breeder, Ewen Macmillan, Lurg, came out of top at Fintry Blackface sheep show, winning both the champion and reserve honours with home-bred sheep.
Supreme was a ewe by an £11,000 Gass, out of a ewe by The Apprentice. The reserve honours were presented to a tup lamb by a £28,000 Auldhouseburn bred from a £50,000 Pole daughter. Both were on their first outing.
