More than 100 Blackface sheep breeders and enthusiasts took part in the breed’s Inverness and North branch stockjudging event at Dingwall Auction Mart.
Judge, Archie McKinnon, had eight classes to place, with sheep forward from Glenrinnes, Hillhead of Morinish, Clune and Corrybrough, Dalbuick and Ess, Knockandhu,Towiemore, Bomakelloch and The Glebe.
Mr McKinnon found his champion sheep and the best pen in ewes from Glenrinnes.
The tup hogg class was won by the Shearers from Hillhead of Morinish with entries from Clune and Corrybrough taking second and third place respectively.
