THE POPULAR specialist cultivation and seeding event, Tillage-Live, has been confirmed as taking place on September 14, 2017, at Wickenby Airfield, Lincoln.
Organised by the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) on behalf of the industry, it will follow the usual format of a full working demonstration of cultivations equipment including ploughs, cultivators, conventional, strip tillage and direct drills. Alongside this there are working plots with crop sprayers and a full technical trade static exhibition area.
Organisers, the AEA's Kayleigh Holden has taken over the running
of the event following the retirement of Duncan Russell, said: ‘The AEA is extremely pleased to be back at Wickenby which we last visited in 2001. The aerodrome site offers excellent facilities for manufacturers to showcase their machinery and thanks to Rainthorpe Farms for being our host for 2017."
It is that the event may return to Scotland in 2018 or 2019.
