With just three months to go, ScotGrass 2026 is set to return as the UK’s premier grassland demonstration event, offering farmers and contractors an invaluable opportunity to see the latest grassland and forage machinery in full working action.
The event takes place on Wednesday May 13, 2026 at Slacks Farm, Lochmaben, Dumfriesshire, running from 09:00 to 16:00.
Organised by the Agricultural Engineers Association, ScotGrass brings together the largest collection of working grassland machinery demonstrations in one location, showcasing cutting-edge technologies across field-scale plots, while also providing a static exhibitor hub where visitors can talk directly with manufacturers and technical experts.
The event includes working plots where machines are put through their paces under real conditions, a central static exhibitor village, and a working silage clamp demonstration arena - all designed to help farmers compare equipment and learn practical approaches to grass harvesting, conservation and forage management.
A new slurry demonstration zone will add an extra practical dimension to ScotGrass 2026, giving attendees the chance to observe the latest slurry handling and nutrient management technologies in operation under genuine farm conditions.
