ADAMA Agricultural Solutions UK will make its first appearance at Cereals 2026 as it prepares to introduce two new products to the UK market: the fungicide Gilboa and the molluscicide Ferrabait.
“We’re looking forward to attending Cereals 2026 at Diddly Squat Farm on June 10 and 11,” said ADAMA technical manager David Griffiths. “Where our fungicide and molluscicide technical experts, regional agronomy managers and global product development teams will be on hand to talk through any technical questions visitors may have about our new products.
“Gilboa and Ferrabait are game changers for UK producers, and we are excited to demonstrate how our value innovation strategy is giving growers access to products which provide rapid, effective and long-term crop protection to enable them to achieve better yields and more sustainable returns.”

Gilboa is a new fungicide based on flumetylsulforim, a chemistry classified by the Fungicide Resistance Action Committee as having a unique mode of action (Group 32). It works by targeting nucleic acid metabolism, offering a new approach to controlling key cereal and oilseed rape diseases such as septoria and sclerotinia. The product is currently progressing through regulatory approval, with availability expected for the 2027 season.
Jonny Oosthuizen, portfolio and campaign manager, said: “Gilboa is an exciting and important new fungicide for the industry. To be able to develop and bring to market a new mode of action that is performing on a level with market leaders really proves ADAMA’s commitment to UK arable farming.”
Ferrabait is a new slug pellet using the active ingredient Feralla, designed to deliver rapid, long-lasting control of slugs and snails across a wide range of crops. Its formulation combines iron content with wheat-based attractants and humic acids to encourage feeding.
Due for release in autumn 2026, the pellets are manufactured for consistent size and application accuracy, helping ensure effective coverage in the field.
Catherine Whaley, ADAMA product development area manager, said: “At a size of 2.5mm by 2.1mm, Ferrabait pellets spread accurately to wide operating widths and provide the optimal number of baiting points (40-50 pellets per m2) when applied at typical field rates.
“This spreading accuracy, combined with their rapid-stop feeding effect, excellent palatability and durability even in the wettest conditions, ensures crops treated with Ferrabait are protected quickly and for longer against all species of slugs.”
