ALTHOUGH lacking size and condition compared to previous years, lambs were well presented at United Auctions' first of the store lamb sales of the season at Oban, where 4218 changed hands.
They cashed in to average £52.08, against £54.99 for 4021 last year, equivalent to a drop of £2.91 on the year. Leading the entry at £78 were Texel crosses from 3 Baligrundle.
